In respect of the Council’s successful bid to the National Leisure Recovery fund:
• To authorise the Council’s Chief Executive Officer to sign a funding agreement with the English Sports Council, whereby the English Sports Council will pay Cheltenham Borough Council £220,000 to enable the Council to mitigate costs associated with the closure of Leisure-at Cheltenham and the Prince of Wales Stadium and to prepare those sites for reopening when permissible.
• To pass an agreed portion of the funding onto the Cheltenham Trust, that sum to be determined by the Executive Director Finance and Assets.
• To enter into a deed of adherence that will set out obligations that the Cheltenham Trust will adhere to.
