Reasons for the decision:

The Government provided Additional Restrictions Grant Funding in November 2020 for Councils to award direct grants to businesses or for wider business support provided businesses are the beneficiaries of the support.

 

GFirst LEP via Gloucestershire Chief Finance Officers has put forward a proposal for £60,000 of Additional Restrictions Grant Funding from each of the districts for a scheme to support businesses with digitising services and adopting on line trading.

 

GFirst LEP will administer the scheme.

All 6 Gloucestershire District Councils agreed to proceed with grants programme proposed by GFirst LEP.
