Decision:

To instruct A&E to carry out essential H&S related works, to upgrade the whole of the Swindon Road Depot waste & recycling centre with a full fire evacuation procedure as part of our health and safety compliance checks.

 

After a recent site visit by A&E, it was highlighted that improvements could be made to the fire alarm systems at the Depot.

 

A quotation to upgrade the current fire alarm system was requested from A&E.

 

The decision made was to instruct A&E to upgrade the current system and the full fire evacuation procedure. A&E have been carrying out servicing and maintenance of the alarm systems for CBC for a number of years and are believed to be both specialists and have a proven track record for delivery on time and budget.
