3.	Appointment of Honorary Aldermen PDF 214 KB View the background to item 3. Report of the Chief Executive Minutes: The Chief Executive explained that Council could confer the role of Alderman to former councillors on the grounds of eminent services to the authority. With that in mind, the recommendation was to confer the title on former councillor Andrew McKinlay. RESOLVED (unanimously) THAT Council confers the title of Honorary Alderman on former Councillor Andrew McKinlay
