Outside body

The Playhouse building has a long and fascinating history, dating back to 1806. It is owned by Cheltenham Borough Council but has been run by volunteers since 1958, becoming a registered charity in 2001.  It hosts a theatre school, dance classes, and various community groups, as well as providing a home for local amateur actors, professional drama, stand-up comedy, live music and film screenings.
