Consultation process
The Neighbourhood Plan has already been
consulted on as set out in this decision form. Copies of the
representations that have been made must be sent onto the
independent examiner. This decision has been agreed with the
relevant Cabinet member (Cabinet Member for Planning and Building
Control.
Finance Comments: The NDP has to be examined by an independent Examiner, who is paid for and appointed by the Local Planning Authority. Financial support for neighbourhood planning is available at different stages of the process. The cost of the independent examiner for the Leckhampton with Warden Hill Neighbourhood Plan has been estimated at around £9k. £5k of this has been claimed from DLUHC through Neighbourhood Planning Grant scheme and is currently allocated under PLP001 R9102 PLA004, the remainder will have to be managed within existing budgets in PLP001 if further support is not obtained or available.
