Consultation process
This process has commenced following a Cabinet
and Council decision taken in July 2023. Procurement and Legal
Services were consulted in regards to the route to market
(selecting the agent). An officer decision was made following
further consultation with Project Board to select a Framework
option and to select CCS as the most appropriate Framework. A
webpage was created to communicate more broadly as to the process
to select our agent, internal teams were informed and also made
aware that they could sign post queries to the webpage. All the
feedback has been very positive and in support of the steps taken.
A panel selected our preferred agent from the final tenders
received.
Finance Comments: Upfront costs can be covered using existing budgets. This is a service based contract, fees will be payable on completion of work. The final payment for the agent will be a percentage of the sales costs and will be deducted from the capital receipt following the sale.
