Issue - decisions

Utilising the LA Asylum Dispersal Grant Funding provided by the Home Office, to award grants to a range partners for 2025-26, as follows:

 - Cheltenham Welcomes Refugees (CWR) a further sum of £8,653;
 - Gloucestershire Constabulary a sum of £27,358.63;
 -   Adult Education Services Gloucestershire County Council a sum of £22,239.70; and:

In addition, to allocate a sum of £20,000 from the LA Asylum Dispersal Grant Funding to cover direct costs incurred by the Strategic Housing and Enabling team for supporting asylum-related activities during 2025-26.

 
The funding will be allocated from the LA Asylum Dispersal Grant Funding which states 'A payment will be made to facilitate Local Authorities to assist with costs of supporting Asylum Seekers. The payment is to provide a contribution to Eligible Expenditure incurred during FY2025-26 by a Recipient in relation to pressure on local services associated with supporting Asylum Seekers.'
