To award contract to Amelio Utilities Ltd for repair of the culvert wingwall at Warden Hill Allotments following an open request for quotation tender on the in-tend portal.

A brick headwall/wingwall at a culvert outlet in Warden Hill Allotments is identified as in need of remediation to mitigate flood risk. Cheltenham Borough Council are responsible for the repair as the riparian landowner. Repair to the structure is required to prevent a complete failure of the wall occurring which could incur flood risk to properties upstream. Following an open request for quote tender process Amelio Utilities Ltd were identified as the preferred bidder.

The repair is considered a necessity as the asset is in poor condition. A temporary support structure has been installed but this is not considered a sustainable long-term solution.

Consultation with the Environment Agency has been undertaken during the design phase as a permit from the Environment Agency is required for the works.
