To approve the allocation of previously
underspent Household Support Funding as set out in Appendix
1.
Reasons for the decision:
The council currently holds £60,000 of
Household Support Funding which has accrued as a result of
underspends in previous years. The County Council have agreed that
this funding can now be reallocated.
Alternative options considered:
The Council could have awarded the funds to
different partners or set up more of its own schemes, however, this
was considered the best option for delivery.
