Decision:
To agree to Cheltenham Borough Council’s inclusion as a partner in the renewal of the Warm and Well partnership agreement. The renewed partnership agreement will be for a further two years with the option to renew for up to another three years subject to performance and available finance.
Partners to the agreement include:
• Stroud District Council (Acting as lead authority with responsibility for procurement under the partnership agreement, in compliance with their constitution)
• Cheltenham Borough Council
• Tewkesbury Borough Council
• Forest of Dean District Council
• Cotswold District Council
• South Gloucestershire Council
Reasons for the decision:
To allow Cheltenham Borough Council to be included in the extension of this successful partnership and to enable delivery of planned project work, thus avoiding delays in project delivery and unacceptable confusion to vulnerable households.
One Legal have issued advice to Stroud District Council acting as lead authority for the partnership and costs are within budget. Expenditure relating to this partnership agreement will be paid for out of the Better Care Fund administered by the County Council.
