To award a contract to de-silt ditches and watercourse in Springbank to Amelio company for £14,000 (this is an estimate based on £1,000 per day plus disposal costs at cost plus 15%).

Works allocated for completion of the works from Flood Management cost centre.

Multiple contractors contacted and undertook site visits (Amelio, Cotswold Drains and William Rose Drains).

Cotswolds Drains and William Rose Drains subsequently chose not to submit a quote.

Amelio submitted quote as detailed above and can complete in time required.

This is a seasonally constrained piece of work, which needs to be completed before March 2022 as tree work and fly tipping removal have already been completed. Works are required to reduce flood risk and forms part of the councils approach to flood management and mitigation.

Trigger point provided at day 10 to assess any works beyond £14,000.

Not to award contract. This was rejected as work is required for maintenance.
