To award a contract to Snape Contracting following a competitive tender for the external works to various flats and houses in the sum of year 1 £300 000 , Year 2 £200,000 with possible extension Year 3 £200,000 (approximately)
Reasons for the decision:
To enable works to be carried out under contract for the maintenance of external areas of the HRA houses and flats.
Alternative options considered:
None. This tender exercise represented the most economically advantageous tender response from the market.
Other reasons / organisations consulted
Under S.20 Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 leaseholders have been notified of our intention to enter into a contract. All CBH residents will be consulted on the works nearer to the mobilisation of work.
Following consultation there have been observations returned which have been answered in full under Section 20.
