Decision details

To authorise the Borough Solicitor to complete a Deed of Variation to the Inter- Authority Agreement to exclude the following delegations from the 2020 Partnership Joint Committee with effect from 1^st April 2017:

a)  HR policies and procedures

b) Pay and grading policy

c) Total reward policy (including financial and non-financial benefits)

At Council 27^th March  2017 the following resolution was passed:

1.    Agrees to withdraw, from 1 April 2017 the following delegations from

the 2020 Partnership Joint Committee

a)    HR policies and procedures

b) Pay and grading policy

c) Total reward policy (including financial and non-financial benefits

2.    Authorises the Head of Paid Service, in consultation with the Borough Solicitor, to complete appropriate legal documentation as necessary to facilitate the implementation of the recommendations in this report.”

This decision seeks authority to complete a Deed of Variation to the Inter Authority Agreement to give effect to this resolution.
