Decision:
1) To allow an easement of a gas pipe under Council owned land that is currently being used as a footpath. The land is located just off Arle Road and runs along the railway track.
2) Accept the negotiated payment of £3,000 for the easement as well as an additional £1,020 for allowing them to do works provided they are commenced within 6 weeks for completing the documentation.
3) That WWU(Wales West Utilities) place signage showing where the next nearest footpath is and replace our gates with DDA compliant ones. The works will take 5 weeks from the start.
Reasons for the decision:
To allow WWU to place a gas pipe under Council land that is being used as a footpath near to Arle Road in exchange for £4020.

Consultation with the green spaces team and no objections were received. While works are ongoing alternative access available.
