Purpose:

An advert requesting expressions of interest was placed on CBC’s website for contractors to register their interest. Tender documentation was sent out to 7 interested parties.

Decision:

To approve the contract for the provision of scooter storage units for sheltered accommodation

Reasons for the decision:

It is the duty of CBH to ensure as far as is reasonably practicable the health, safety and welfare of their residents under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005. Mobility Scooters need to be stored within secure areas where they wll not impede fire escape routes or create fire risks in communal areas.
