Sub-delegation of authority to complete the 2020 Vision inter-authority agreement to the deputy Chief Executive, Pat Pratley, with the intend that either she or I will have concurrent authority to act in accordance with the above resolution.

At Cabinet on 13 October 2015 a resolution was approved (and later endorsed by full Council on 19 October 2015) in the following terms:-

Authority be delegated to the Chief Executive in consultation with the Leader, the Section 151 Officer and the Borough Solicitor to finalise and complete the Inter Authority Agreement (including the Constitution) and other documentation on terms to be approved by the Borough Solicitor and to take all necessary steps to create the 2020 Vision Joint Committee by April 2016.

In order to cover the possibility that the exercise of this authority may be required at a time when I, as the person to whom authority is delegated, am unavailable for an extended period, and for the avoidance of any doubt I hereby sub-delegate my authority under this resolution to my deputy Chief Executive, Pat Pratley, with the intend that either she or I will have concurrent authority to act in accordance with the above resolution.
