Reasons for the decision:
To support the delivery of a key priority within the Council’s Corporate Plan by supporting the development and growth of the cyber sector in Cheltenham.
To fulfil the ambitions and vision for cyber and the Golden Valley Development it is vital to undertake key economic development and branding activities. Specifically this work will aim to strengthen the presence of the Cheltenham Cyber-tech cluster on a regional, national and international level and directly support the Golden Valley Development to identify and secure potential occupiers which is essential to the success of the planned West Cheltenham campus.
A contract procedures rules waiver form has been approved for this contract.
