Decision:

To undertake a Conservation Management Plan for the Pittville Pump Room (PPR).  The funding of this work has been identified from within existing budgets

 

Reasons for the decision:

PPR is a grade 1 listed building and the creation of aConservation Management Plan will help support the long-term property management, supporting conservation and financial sustainability of the building.  Historic England advise (see background document linked to this decision) that “conservation management plans, regularly reviewed, can provide a sound framework for the management of significant places, particularly those in responsible long-term ownership.
