Sale of former Lansdown Place Lane Car Park on the terms set out in the Briefing Report (Exempt Information, Schedule 12A, Part 1, Paragraph 3), in accordance with the decision made by Cabinet on 12^th July 2022 (Agenda Item No 9).

Reasons for the decision:

1. To ensure certainty of delivery

2. To ensure delivery of Best Consideration within the parameters of s.123 Local Government Act 1972

3. To protect the financial interests of the council both in terms of mitigating unnecessary ongoing revenue costs and delivering a capital receipt, ideally within the current financial year

4. To deliver development of the site and secure all the attendant economic, social and environment benefits that will accrue through such redevelopment
