To enter into a participation agreement for the European Regional Development Fund URBAN Greening project
Reasons for the decision:
In 2017 CBC entered into an agreement with partner authorities, with Gloucester City Council as the lead authority to make a bid for ERDF funding. This bid was successful and programme of works being delivered in line with the bid.
The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) requires that the Participating Organisations enter into an agreement setting out the responsibilities of the Participating Organisations for monitoring the outputs expected under the Funding Agreement already approved
Alternative options considered:
If the agreement wasn’t signed, the Council would need to pay back the funding already used. This has been discounted.
