Not to object to the closure of St Mary’s Charlton Kings Churchyard on the grounds that there is no proper room for new graves.
Reasons for the decision:
The Parochial Church Council of the Ecclesiastical Parish of St Mary’s Charlton Kings have written to Cheltenham Borough Council giving notice of their intention to apply for a closure order for the Churchyard of St Mary’s Charlton Kings on the grounds there is no longer room for new graves.
Part C of the closure order requires the Council to indicate if it objects to the closure order, or not. An officer decision is required not to object to the closure order as there are no grounds for objection.
