To approve the appointment of Karen Taylor as Commercial Finance Director and James Head as Operations Director to the Board of the Company for GAL.

Reasons for the decision:
The Executive Management restructure for Gloucestershire Airport Ltd (GAL) proposed by GAL Board was approved by the shareholding councils.
Both have now successfully completed their probationary period, so will be officially appointed in December.
In line with the schedule of responsibilities (ref: C9) in the shareholder’s agreement ‘appointing persons as Directors of the company’ requires a recommendation from the GAL Board and approval by shareholders.

Overview and scrutiny committee were updated on the proposed structure at a meeting on 27th November 2017. It was supportive of actions taken to strengthening the management of the company.
