Variation of Participation Agreement for provision of countywide rough sleeping outreach project
Decision status: Recommendations Approved
Is Key decision?: No
Is subject to call in?: No
Decision:
To vary the participation agreement for the provision of a countywide rough sleeping outreach project dated 8 March 2017 to change the employer of the County Homelessness Co-ordinator from Cotswold District Council to Gloucester City Council.
Reasons for the decision:
A participation agreement was made on 8 March 2017 to enter into a contract for the procurement of a countywide rough sleeping outreach project and to also secure the provision of a Countywide Homelessness Co-ordinator and a Severe Weather Emergency Protocol.
This agreement specified that Cotswold District Council was the employer of the Homelessness Co-ordinator Post. However, it has been proposed that Gloucester City Council will now take over the employment of the County wide Homelessness Co-ordinator.
The council will therefore seek to ensure there is a seamless delivery of services as the lead authority transfers between different authorities.
Alternative options considered:
No viable alternative options available.
Other reasons / organisations consulted
None-procurement was necessary.
