To update the CBC/CBH Communications Protocol. This protocol captures the various meetings that take place at both strategic and operational levels

The CBC/CBH Communications Protocol is an appendix to the Management Agreement between Cheltenham Borough Council and Cheltenham Borough Homes, and is updated periodically to reflect agreed changes to the working arrangements between the two organisations.

The updated Communications Protocol captures the following key changes:

·         A Joint Director meeting has been included to capture opportunities for sharing key strategic projects; to identify longer term opportunities for collaborative working; and to ensure there is appropriate information sharing to enable the delivery of agreed priorities.

·         A Housing Options quarterly liaison group has been established, to provide greater focus on issues arising from the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and the increase in funding that has been made available to tackle homelessness.

·         A Community Engagement meeting has been captured to reflect and formalise the meetings that take place between CBC and CBH on matters relating to community engagement.

·         A PR process map has also been included to capture the arrangements that have been agreed between CBC and CBH regarding press releases and enquiries. 

The attached communications protocol has been agreed between key officers within CBC and CBH, in consultation with the Cabinet Member Housing.
