Reasons for the decision:
On 5 April 2022 Cabinet approved a COVID-19 Additional Relief Fund (CARF) scheme and authorised the Cabinet Member Finance and Assets to make changes to the scheme and determine the level of relief to be awarded.
The scheme is being amended as follows:
- Amend the list of businesses excluded so that further educational establishments providing mainly vocational courses are included
- Set the relief level at 100% of the business rates payable for 2021/22 in respect of applications received by the closing date of 9th September that fully meet the eligibility criteria
