To contract Natasha Russell Events Ltd to deliver event management services on behalf of Cheltenham Borough Council.
Reasons for the decision:
It is, in the opinion of the Authorised Officer, in the Authority’s best interest to engage Natasha Russell Events Ltd given their unique experience and specialist knowledge acquired in supporting the delivery of the 2021/22 events programme. This service was openly procured in 2021.
Monitoring of the previous contract demonstrated quality outputs and value for money. The value of the contract will be shared with Cheltenham BID.
The contract will deliver events up to and including Christmas 2022 delivery and closedown.
Alternative options considered:
Recruitment of in-house Events Manager role is pending as part of Marketing Cheltenham and CBC Organisational Review.
