Outside body

As a local authority which undertakes civil parking and other traffic enforcement, CBC has a statutory requirement to make provision for independent adjudication of motorists’ appeals against traffic penalties they issue, by joining the PATROL (Parking and Traffic Regulations Outside London) Joint Committee.  PATROL has over 300 member authorities and is seen as a representative voice on civil traffic enforcement outside London.
